My colleague at Symantec, Rahul Asave, told me about 2 possible locations for the Sunday event. The first is the Indian Community Center Senior Center in Sunnyvale, he has been there, however, the # he gave me didn't work, he's going to get a current #.
The other one is the Indian Community Center in Milpitas, here is their site: http://www.indiacc.org/icc/index-2.html
They have quite an impressive facility, they can do banquets for up to 750 people. Rahul says that Milpitas is centrally located for the Indian community. On a Sunday it's only about 1 hour from SF, and much less from Sunnyvale.
I've left a message for the banquet manager there.
Is there anyone who could volunteer to check out one or both of these sites?

I didn't offer to coordinate this group. It seems to me that person is Sarah, or perhaps Sarah for Saturday and me for Sunday. I did offer to lead the effort on Sunday. So far we have a title for the Sunday event:
"The Good News about Rural Women in India:
A Benefit for The Hunger Project featuring Supriya Banavalikar"

Here is what Supriya said about it:

"Thanks Lee and Barry. I love the headline that you have suggested. It
represents who the rural women are emerging as in their leadership and
commitment to the people in their communities. I very much look forward
to being part of this benefit that you are working on. Thank you for
creating the opportunity to have these women's voices heard."

The Voices of Global Leaders website is live. Registration can be made on either www.voicesofgloballeaders.com or on the Santa Clara University Global Women's Leadership Network site, gwln.org . Supriya will be sending us a vitae tomorrow. She will be conference keynote speaker and also participate in a panel discussion I believe moderated by Julia.

Thank you, Lori. Reporting who's invited, attending, and registered is fine to do on this site. I will review it with the team each week. I will send the team an email attachment of the current one pager and list of women leaders for the world participants who will be engaging us in conversation in "communities of commitments" (8 to a group) in the afternoon.

I spoke to one woman, Cindy Campbell inviting her to
Saturday morning and lunch. I need the written piece
in order for her to register. I am committed to having 10 people
at the Saturday morning and 4 people for Sunday.

I would appreciate a twice or three time weekly reminder
by e-mailabout the events and all of our inviting.

Sarah, Thank you for making this possible.
